Daleo Rent Srl, headquartered in Bacau, Calea Republicii, no. 21B, Bacau County, Romania, collects and processes personal data in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 677/2001 for the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (as subsequently amended) and of EU Regulation no. 679/2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

The data are collected by automated and manual means and are intended to carry out the contracts concluded for the services that Daleo Rent SRL provides.

If you are a customer or potential customer, Daleo Rent Srl will process your personal data, such as name and surname, telephone number, e-mail address, postal address, date of birth, other specific data such as identity card / passport and driving license, these being necessary for drawing up the car rental contract.

If you are a customer or potential customer, Daleo Rent Srl processes your personal data as follows:

-for making and managing the car reservation and then for setting up and carrying out the contract between you and Daleo Rent Srl, orders placed on the website www.daleo.ro.

The provision of your personal data is necessary for the execution of the car rental contract. Refusal to provide data may result in the impossibility of performing the contract between you and Daleo Rent Srl.

The processing of your data for this purpose is based on your consent.

You can express your consent to the processing of data for this purpose by checking the appropriate box when completing the booking form.

Providing your data for this purpose is voluntary. Refusal to provide consent for the processing of your data for this purpose will not have negative consequences for you.

The length of time we process your data

Daleo Rent Srl will process your personal data as long as necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned above

If you are a customer, we will process your data for the entire duration of the contract and subsequently in accordance with the legal obligations incumbent on Daleo Rent Srl (eg, in the case of financial-accounting supporting documents for which the retention period provided by law is 10 years from the end of the financial year in which they were drawn up).

If you are a customer and you exercise the option to delete data, Daleo Rent Srl will comply with this action. If you do not want your personal data to be processed or if you want to delete the data, you can exercise your rights by sending a written request to the email address telefonari@daleo.ro

If you withdraw your consent to the processing of data for marketing purposes, Daleo Rent Srl will cease the processing of your personal data for this purpose, without affecting the processing previously carried out by Daleo Rent Srl based on your consent before its withdrawal.

Data security

The security of your data is important to us. When you enter personal data during a recording or during the creation of a reservation, it will be encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to industry standards, to process the data you transmit to us.
We respect generally accepted standards to protect personal and identity data transmitted to us, both during their transmission and after their receipt. However, no method of transmitting data over the Internet or storing it in an electronic environment is 100% secure. For data protection we use commercially accepted methods, we cannot guarantee their absolute security. Any attempt to access the personal data of another user or to affect the performance of the server running the site will be considered an attempt to defraud the site and will trigger criminal investigation against the person or persons who have initiated this action. Upon notifying the users, Daleo Rent will take all the necessary measures and will make available all the files of the competent bodies empowered to solve this type of crime.

-the right to obtain the correction, without justified delays, by Daleo Rent Srl of inaccurate / unjustified personal data, as well as the completion of incomplete data;
